INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the World Group of Martial Arts Federations (WGMF). We are an International Sports Federation for the preservation and development of all forms of martial arts competition and all styles and origins of martial arts. We seek to include the old to improve the new and to unite people of the World through martial arts as a medium for Unity, Development, Preparation and Participation including bringing in Professionalism as a very important and vital involvement in the future for martial arts as a vocation for the very best.
The WGMF is present in 5 continents and has a very unique and all-encompassing structure that allows all martial arts and martial artists to participate freely in any choice they make in any martial arts competition formats and any traditional style of martial arts from Okinawa, Mainland Japan, Chinese, Korean or any other martial arts from different origins under one united organization. Catering for everyone both in technical development and competition. Education and empowering our members is a critical factor in our mission and vision.
Our members range from the youth, women and seniors together with veterans in martial arts and we cater for all of their preferences and choices under one organization, something that is not in existence today in the World of Martial Arts. We work with all organizations and encourage partnership towards our goals of Uniting and Developing all martial arts.
The World Group of Martial Arts Federations was created for broader influence and participation as this was lacking in the WKF which did not allow or cater for all karate, including martial arts and excluded a lot of martial artists from its membership as it determines that whoever does not practice WKF karate are “dissidents”, a term against the spirit of Martial Arts and words against unity and sportsmanship. Martial Arts is about peace and unity, not division and hatred.
This is now history and a new chapter is opened for world martial arts unity and development and we encourage all traditional and sports-minded martial artists to take this opportunity in joining a truly quality centered, non-political, all-inclusive, broad-based world martial arts organization.
To belong to the WGMF is to belong to the world martial arts community, for you and your members. We have five legs in which we wish to move forward.
1. Unite all Martial Arts.
2. Develop all Martial Arts.
3. Create opportunities for all Martial Arts and martial artists through seminars, competitions and educational activities.
4. Creating a World network of Martial Artists to engage in friendship, competition, education and brother and sisterhood.
5. Peace and harmony in the World through Martial Arts.

Mission
The WGMF was based on concepts of open-mindedness, critical thinking, real training, active participation, research, and constant development. Our conduct system is free from ego and cults of personality. We oppose fraud and profanation in martial arts.
Our organization’s primary goals are the stimulation of joint education, cross-training, cultural relationships, joint global events, gatherings, and exchange of experience, knowledge, and skill among all members in a friendly environment.
We foster the true spirit of martial arts by keeping high standards in training, education, research, verification, examination, and promotion. Similarly, we stand up for the importance of earning all ranks through hard work and a fair assessment.
Vision
WGMF is the bridge between Eastern and Western martial arts practitioners; among amateurs and professionals; among small training groups and large world associations. We are confident that our community is an effective integration tool for traditional martial arts, modern eclectic combat styles, realistic self-defense, and combat sports.
We believe that all styles of martial arts are unique and possess their own philosophy and values; all martial arts and combat systems are the ways of self-expression of individuals or groups of individuals; they are a part of the creative process of human beings. Thus, our association does not violate the autonomy of its members, respects their independence, and supports their creative endeavors.
Our vision is to unify all martial artists globally, maintaining the principles of peace, humanity, goodwill, integrity, commitment, solidarity, respect, common sense, cooperation, mutual support, technical excellence, mastery, merit, and professionalism through the practice and representation of martial arts.

WGMF aims to bring all Martial Arts Federations around the Globe, on one platform by global networking, positive interactions and mutual understanding.
